# Payment Transaction Overview

A **payment transaction** is initiated whenever a **buyer** completes a payment through a **checkout link** hosted on **cPanel**. Transactions can have various statuses, including successful or failed attempts.

Each transaction has the following basic information:

**Transaction Basics:**

1. **Transaction Time:** The exact moment when the transaction was processed.
2. **Status Update Timing:** When a status update is recorded, the timestamp might differ slightly (by approximately a second) from the actual transaction time.

**Reseller Specifics:**

1. **Transaction Amount:** The actual value of the transaction after deducting payment gateway fees and commissions.

3. **Payment Gateway Fee:** Charges levied by payment gateways such as Paypal or Stripe for processing the payment.
4. **Reseller Share**: The portion of the transaction amount allocated to the reseller.
